TUOLUMNE COUNTY 2:08 a.m., Tuolumne — A man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after a deputy responded to a reported fight on the 19400 block of North Tuolumne Road. 7:41 a.m., Columbia — A caller on the 23200 block of Woods Creek Way said her neighbor’s ex-boyfriend entered the caller’s house without permission, threw her to the floor twice, and “C-clamped” her neck. She said he also smashed her television set and took it with him. 7:42 a.m., Sonora area — A caller on the 15900 block of Tomahawk Court said someone stole a woman’s bicycle and diving gear and tried to drill into a gun safe. All the items were in the garage. 8:52 a.m., Groveland area — A man said his wife’s purse, with $400 cash, credit cards and a checkbook inside, was stolen while they were staying on the 33100 block of Evergreen Road. 11:05 a.m., Pinecrest — A woman said her cabin on the 300 block of Rustic Road had been broken into sometime between September and May 22. Nothing was missing, but someone had used the toilet, the shutters were out of place, and a storage unit attacked to the cabin was forced open. 11:07 a.m., Chinese Camp — A gasoline credit card was stolen on Highway 49. 2:31 p.m., Jamestown — A man said his neighbor knocked him out during a fight a few days earlier. 4:16 p.m., Tuolumne area — A woman on the 20500 block of Ponderosa Way said 51 pills of a depression-anxiety medication were stolen from her residence on May 17. 4:22 p.m., Pinecrest — A woman on the 100 block of Sugar Pine Avenue said someone tried to pry open a ground level window on her vacation home sometime between May 9 and 22. 5:28 p.m., Camp Mather — An air ambulance responded to Ackerson Meadow to transport a 34-year-old woman with stroke-like symptoms. 6:08 p.m., Twain Harte — A burglary was reported to a vacation cabin on the 24000 block of South Fork Drive.
9:51 p.m., Jamestown — An 18-year-old man on the 17900 block of Seco Street refused medical treatment for a possible concussion and black eye his mother said he had gotten in a fight. 7:59 a.m., Groveland — A man on the 21000 block of Ferretti Road said he walked outside when he heard a loud noise and saw another man beating on a car and then beating a woman. He said he tried to get the second man to stop hitting the woman, then became a victim himself, when the man knocked him down, injuring his ankle. 12:54 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman said her grandparents’ vacation home on the 22700 bock of Bret Harte Drive had been burglarized. 1:38 p.m., Don Pedro — A man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at Lake Don Pedro after two calls that he was harassing people. 3 p.m., Chinese Camp — A caller reported a suspicious vehicle on the 13700 block of Highway 49. The license number came back to a vehicle involved in a recent car-jacking in Turlock. It was gone nine minutes later when a California Highway Patrol officer got to the scene. 4:16 p.m., Soulsbyville — A woman reported her wallet missing, and said she thought it was taken from her brother’s pickup about 8:15 Friday night while it was parked on the 20600 block of Soulsbyville Road. 6:08 p.m., Crystal Falls — A caller said two teenagers on bicycles and a third on foot were going through people’s mailboxes. 6:47 p.m., East Sonora — One man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after a deputy responded to a call about two men fighting on the 14200 block of Tuolumne Road.
7:09 p.m., Tuolumne — A man said he was sitting at a blackjack table on the 19400 block of North Tuolumne Road when a woman, who was also sitting at the table, reached over and hit him in the nose with a closed fist. 5:27 p.m., Columbia — An auto-mechanic shop was broken into on the 11600 block of Columbia College Drive. 5:37 p.m., Lake Tulloch area — A vehicle was broken into while parked on on O’Byrnes Ferry Road near the bridge. 6 p.m., Sonora area — A 14-year-old girl was reportedly assaulted by another juvenile girl on Grouse Way. 6:08 p.m., Sonora area — A fight was reported on Serrano Road. 6:51 p.m., Sonora area — A caller said some kids painted a doll baby black and hung it from a tree on Chukar Circle.
9:47 p.m., Sonora area — A woman was cited on suspicion of assaulting a man on Chukar Circle. 11 p.m., Sonora — Barry Jay Rosa, 41, of the 9700 block of Walnut Creek, booked on suspicion of burglary, damaging a telephone or power line, conspiracy to commit a crime and violation of parole after an arrest on the 18000 block of Hatler Drive. 11:22 p.m., Jamestown — Robert Eugene Smith, 40, of the 8400 block of Old Melones Dam Road, booked on suspicion of burglary, damaging a telephone or power line, conspiracy to commit a crime and misdemeanor vandalism after an arrest at his home.
11:23 p.m., Groveland — Joshua Cody Power, 20, of the 18800 block of Main Street in Big Oak Flat, booked on suspicion of battery and misdemeanor violation of probation after an arrest at his home. 1:30 p.m., La Grange — Estevan Montanez Cervantes, 33, of the 200 block of Angels Street in Turlock, booked on suspicion of taking a vehicle without an owner’s consent, receiving known stolen property, misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and misdemeanor driving without a license after an arrest on the 8200 block of Las Cruces. 2:30 p.m., Sonora — Morgan Britney Brown, 20, of the 9500 block of Highway 49, booked on suspicion of conspiracy to commit a misdemeanor, misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor and misdemeanor shoplifting after an arrest at Wal-Mart. 3:25 p.m., La Grange — Jesus Cervantes Jr., 29, of the 200 block of Bell Monte Avenue in Turlock, booked on suspicion of taking a vehicle without an owner’s consent, receiving known stolen property and misdemeanor obstructing or resisting a peace officer after an arrest on the 8200 block of Las Cruces.
9:21 p.m., Sonora — Melissa Christine Burns, 37, of the 8400 block of Old Melones Road in Jamestown, booked on suspicion of burglary, damaging a telephone or power line, conspiracy to commit a crime, misdemeanor malicious mischief and a warrant after an arrest at the Tuolumne County Jail. 1 a.m., Sonora — Steven Patrick Engle-Borda, 22, of the 17500 block of Fernwood Drive in Jamestown, booked on suspicion of accessory after an arrest on Highway 49 and Tuttletown Road. 1:22 a.m., Jamestown — Raymond Lee Engle, 38, of an unknown address on Draper Mine Road, booked on suspicion of willful infliction of corporal injury, violation of probation and a warrant after an arrest in a tree on the east side of Wilcox Ranch Road. He allegedly assaulted another person. Police officers found him hiding in the tree in the back of the property, where he was arrested.
3:12 a.m., Sonora — James Andrew Halstead, 25, of the 100 block of Dossi Way, booked on suspicion of willful infliction of corporal injury and misdemeanor disorderly conduct due to alcohol after an arrest at his home. 8:09 p.m., Tuolumne — Christine Anne Barger, 38, of the 7200 block of Highway 49 in Mariposa, arrested on Black Oak Road at Tuolumne Road.
8:25 p.m., Moccasin area — Joshua Creag Connell, 28, of the 22700 block of Twain Harte Drive, arrested on Highway 120 west of Jacksonville Road. 3:05 a.m., Sonora — Lorraine Leocadia Gilbert, 36, of the 19300 block of Rockridge Way, arrested in Andy’s parking lot.
1:55 a.m., Sonora — Joshua Wayne Jensen, 22, of the 17800 block of Black Bart, arrested on South Washington Street at Gold Street. 12:15 a.m., Twain Harte — David William Tibbey, 47, of the 23400 block of Cypress Circle in Twain Harte, arrested on Middle Camp Road east of Michigan Road.
5:55 p.m., Cherry Lake area — Michael Anthony Stroud, 46, of the 22800 block of Upper Cedarcrest Road, arrested on Cottonwood at Cherry Valley Road. 7:44 a.m., Montezuma Junction — Travis Michael Nash, 24, of the 1500 block of O’Byrnes Ferry Road, arrested on Highway 108 west of Highway 49.
6:05 p.m., Sonora — Wayne Richard Hyde, 73, of the 23300 block of Tanager Drive in Twain Harte, arrested at Sonora Regional Medical Center.
4:50 p.m., theft — Two boys were cited for petty theft at a Sanguinetti Road business, then released to their parents. 6:25 a.m., theft — A man said he allowed a homeless man to sleep at his apartment Friday night, and he woke up Saturday morning to find his house a mess and items taken. 11:06 a.m., theft — A man was cited for petty theft at a Sanguinetti Road store. 1:13 p.m., theft — A caller reported the theft of keys on Greenley Road.
3:34 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman, who said her neighbors have had two cats poisoned lately, found rat poison on a piece of wood in her basement. She said she didn’t put it there, and neither did the pest control business she uses. She was given options for disposing of the poison and advised to keep the basement closed and locked.
4:36 p.m., Standard — Officials believe sparks from a power surge sparked a fire near Curtis Creek Elementary School. The fire burned about a quarter acre of grass. Responding were Cal Fire units from Columbia College, Twain Harte Standard, Mono Village San Andreas and Baseline camp.
8:14 p.m., Sonora — Someone started a debris and garbage pile on fire near the railroad tracks on the 13800 block of Mono Way. Responding were Cal Fire units from Columbia College and Standard. 5 a.m., Jamestown — A grass fire less than a quarter acre burned on the 12000 block of La Grange Road. Responding were Cal Fire units from Columbia College, Green Springs and Standard, and Tuolumne County Fire units from Jamestown. 3:19 p.m., Copperopolis — A 20- by 20-foot spot of grass burned on the 900 block of Feather Drive. The cause is unknown, Cal Fire said. Responding were Cal Fire units from Altaville and Copperopolis Fire.
4:07 p.m., Dorrington — An abandoned vehicle found two miles off Highway 4 on Forest Road 6N788Y was vandalized and then set on fire, causing $30,000 damage. Responding were Ebbetts Pass Fire and the Stanislaus National Forest. 9:22 a.m., Copperopolis — Vandalism occurred on Sequoia Circle. 9:41 a.m., San Andreas — Vandalism occurred on East St. Charles Street. 12:22 p.m., Arnold — A residential break-in occurred on Country Club Drive. 1:32 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — A vehicle break-in occurred on Baker Riley Way.
3:18 p.m., Copperopolis — A paddle boat was stolen on Shoreline Court. 6:35 a.m., Copperopolis — A theft occurred on the 7200 block of O’Byrnes Ferry Road. 7:34 a.m., Avery — Vandalism occurred on Highway 4. 8:23 a.m., Arnold — A business was vandalized at Meadowmont Shopping Center. 10:14 a.m., Hathaway Pines — An assault and battery occurred at Highway 4 and Commercial Way. 12:08 p.m., Arnold — A bike was stolen on the 1400 block of Maple Street and later recovered undamaged. 5:03 p.m., Copperopolis — A vehicle break-in occurred at O’Byrnes Ferry and Poker Flat roads. 5:21 p.m., Copperopolis — A vehicle break-in occurred on O’Byrnes Ferry south of the Tuolumne County line.
7:07 p.m., Wallace — A vehicle break-in occurred on Highway 12. 6:50 p.m., Valley Springs — Charles William Vaughan, 62, of the 3500 block of Laurent Drive, booked on suspicion of a fourth or subsequent DUI in seven years, driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol and driving with a license suspended for DUI after an arrest on Highway 26 at Hogan Dam Road.
8:20 p.m., Valley Springs — Timothy Allen Wilkerson, 33, of the 9500 block of Highway 26, booked on suspicion of willful child cruelty after an arrest at McCann Drive and Huckleberry Lane. 8:25 p.m., Burson — Mark Anthony Pico, 48, of the 4100 block of Highway 26, arrested on Highway 12 at Burson Road.
9:05 p.m., Valley Springs — Jacob Michael Jordan, 21, of the 4200 block of Satinwood Road in Concord, arrested on New Hogan Parkway south of St. Petersburg Road. 3:36 a.m., Douglas Flat — Debra Jo Irby-Anderson, 57, of the 4000 block of Sheep Ranch Road in Murphys, arrested on the 1100 block of East Highway 4. 5:05 a.m., West Point — Christian Patrick Thompson, 28, of an unknown block of Jurs Street, arrested at Main and Bouvard streets. Thompson was also cited for suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle. 8:50 p.m., Angels Camp — Russell Donald Thomas, 25, of the 1600 block of Savory Drive in Manteca, arrested on the 800 block of South Main Street.
10:05 p.m., Angels Camp — Shawn Robert Gowan, 25, of the 3600 block of Mountain Ranch Road in San Andreas, arrested on Highway 49 at Copello Drive. 7:45 p.m., Valley Springs — Michael John Crader, 21, of the 3800 block of Walnut Avenue in Concord, arrested on Hogan Dam Road. Crader was also cited for suspicion of driving with a suspended license. 10:38 p.m., Murphys — Bret Lee Douglas Cassel, 21, of the 2100 block of Patricia Lane in Arnold, arrested on the 100 block of Pennsylvania Gulch Road. 11:05 p.m., Angels Camp — Arthur Williams Tyson, 60, of the first block of Upper Robert Drive in Iverness, arrested at Highway 4 and Angel Oaks Drive. |
