An Interfaith Celebration of Earth Day will be held Sunday in downtown Sonora.

The event will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the Sonora Opera Hall and will include devotions, music and light refreshments.

The Opera Hall is at 250 S. Washington St., in Sonora.

Unity Spiritual Center will hold a Blessing of the Animals and Pet Fair April 28 at the center, 23191 Mark Twain Drive in Twain Harte.

The event will include animal blessings along with animal adoption agencies and businesses.
