Mother Lode League girls varsity soccer ended this week with three co-champions.

Summerville, Sonora and Amador finished regular season play with 27 points each.

The Wildcats played their final game against Linden Tuesday night, walloping the Lions 9-2.

Junior Bella Patterson scored six of the goals. On five of them she had the assist from sophomore Brenna Canepa, who also had a goal.

Also scoring a goal for Sonora Izzy Lopez and Michaela Patterson.

“The Wildcat offense is backed by a stingy defense who only allowed four goals in the last seven games,” said coach Kurt Wolken.

Summerville’s varsity season ended last week with a 0-0 tie with cross town rival Sonora.

Next up for both teams is the CIF Sac-Joaquin division playoffs.

The brackets will be released today and games start Wednesday, Feb. 21.
