The 16th annual Rick Bergstrom Tent Classic is set to tee off at Greenhorn Creek Golf Resort on Saturday.
The charity event is played in memory of Rick Bergstrom, a former pastor in the community, to raise funds for combating depression, which affects 35 percent of the population.
The event has raised nearly $500,000 over the past 15 years, most of which has been donated to the UCSF Langley Porter to help research for clinical depression.
Registration opens at 11 a.m., followed by lunch and a 1 p.m. shotgun star for the four-person scramble. Dinner and a silent auction will begin at 6 p.m
Entry fee is $175 per person ($40 for dinner only).
In addition, a drawing will be held for a golf package to Sun Valley Resort in Idaho. The prize includes two rooms/two nights, one round of golf for four, three-day car rental and $500 cash. Tickets for the drawing cost $20 each, $50 for three or $100 for six. Ticket-holders need not be present to win.
