SRMC, Hospice of Amador and Calaveras light up for charity

Health organizations in Tuolumne and Calaveras counties will spread holiday cheer while raising money for causes in the coming days.

Sonora Regional Medical Center will hold its annual Tree Lighting Ceremony benefitting Hospice of the Sierra today from 5 to 6 p.m. at the center on Greenley Road. The ceremony will kick off the center’s sixth annual Festival of Lights.

Farther north in the Mother Lode, Hospice of Amador and Calaveras will hold its annual Tree of Lights lighting ceremonies at 5 p.m. Saturday at its Angels Camp Thrift Store, 570 N. Main St., and at 5 p.m. Sunday at the Hospice Thrift Store, 10776 Argonaut Lane in Jackson. Residents can have a light lit in honor of a loved one for a $10 donation.
