Three former Sonora Wildcat gridiron standouts were named to the All-Time Lions All-Star Football teamon Thursdayin celebration of the game's 40th anniversary.

Wildcat brothers Josh Parry and Neil Parry and Brad Vassar are three of the 38 total players named to the All-Time team for the North squad.

Vassar earned his spot at linebacker by playing in the second-ever Lions game in 1975. Josh Parry, who became a force at fullback with the Philadelphia Eagles where he helped win a Super Bowl, was named to the team as a linebacker for the 1996 squad. His brother Neil, shined in 1998 as a defensive back.

The Lions All-Time team was originally released for the 35th clash between the graduating Sac-Joaquin Section high school seniors with all three Wildcats earning a spot.
