CC falls at Reedley

Reedley bounced back from Columbia's 42-39 halftime lead to defeat the Claim Jumpers 82-68 in a Central Valley Conference hoops battle on Saturday.

Columbia point guard Jarron Crump led the Claim Jumpers from long range with four of the team's seven total 3-pointers on the night.

Crump and Bret Harte grad Danny Radford, who is in his freshman season at Columbia, each ended the night with 14 points. Matt Ruesga added 13 points and DJ Muses had eight.

Columbia was 50 percent from the charity stripe, making 11-of-22 free throws.

The Claim Jumpers (8-13, 3-4 CVC) look to snap a two-game losing streak when they travel to Porterville on Wednesday. Porterville is 0-19 so far this season.
