Wintersports: Epic opening

The Union Democrat Sports Department

What an opening weekend for Dodge Ridge. Skiers and snowboarders had beautiful, fresh powder all weekend and at just past 5 p.m. on Sunday, the Pinecrest-area resort had received just over three feet of snow in the past 48 hours according to their website. Storms overnight were expected to add a few more inches. All terrain may be open today depending on snowfall.
