Bears volleyers win

The Summerville Bears volleyball team upped its Mother Lode League record to 3-1 with a 3-0 home win over Amador on Thursday, 25-18, 25-13, 25-20.

"We cut back on our hitting errors and serve receive errors which helped quite a bit," said Bears head coach Kristy Dwyer. "Everybody got to play tonight which is always nice."

Ashley Gamber had two aces, Breann Robinson had 14 assists, and Courtney Robinson and Bella Bachtelle each had four kills. Gamber and Taylor Leslie each had 13 kills.
