Teammate Matt Myers finished 114th, Sean Brennan 124th and Tyler Sommerfeld 128th.

In the girls' race, Sonora's Samantha Smith finished in 10th place overall.

"Steven moved up to No. 2 on the all-time Sonora top-10 Stanford

times, a mere 0.04 away from being No. 1," said Wildcats head coach

Glenn Bass. "Sam is now No. 1 for the ladies."

Also in that girls' race, Summerville's Kristen Turner finished in 12th place overall.
