Summerville Bears wrestling camp a success

The Summerville Bears annual Summer Wrestling Camp took place on Saturday and Sunday in Tuolumne.

"All of the kids at this camp seemed like they were having fun,"

said former Bears great and instructor Carson Gracia. "We showed them

some advanced stuff and they caught on very fast."

Another

instructor, Sonora Wildcat graduate Jordan DePaoli who finished 10th in

the 2006 State Meet, said, "I was impressed with how eager this group

of kids were to learn. Camps like this are excellent because kids get

to learn various styles from different teachers."

"What I

was most pleased with is all the individual attention each of the kids

received," said Bears head coach Dave Gracia. "All the kids were

serious about wrestling and it all worked out very well."
