MOTHER LODE WRESTLING CLUB WINS SIX TITLES

SAN ANDREAS Six members of the Mother Lode Wrestling Club won championships in the Jim Bennett Classic at Calaveras High School.

Brady Day, Carson Gracia, Garrett Burns, Jake Feriani, Brian Pingree and Jesse Grenland captured titles for the club, which is 60 members strong with wrestlers from age 7 through eighth grade.

Finishing second were Michael Baldwin, Karson Canaday, Joey Crist, Curtis Duncan, Adam Hammerbeck, Curtis Kellogg, Brent Mantzouranis, Cody Mantzouranis, Ricky McColloch, Luke Nunes, Tyler Stoy, Max Turner and Cody Ainslee.

Dalton Day, Austin Domser, Willy Malone, Jared Mantzouranis, Scott Galvin, Austin Ramirez and Chase Twohig finished third, while John Baldwin, Eddie Cruz, Dylan Day, Dylan Fernandes, Dakota Jones, Johnny Kellogg, Scott Mittry, Cole Busch, Cody Stoy and A.J. Ramirez took fourth.

The club wrestles in a tournament Sunday in Ripon.
