Baseball club to hold tryouts

The Sonora Baseball Club will hold tryouts Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Sonora Dome.

The club fields a competitive team of 14-year-olds to play in tournaments and leagues throughout California, and in such places as Oregon, Nevada, and Colorado.

Last year's team was ranked No. 9 in the state.
