With Kevin Massey averaging 11.4 points per game in Central Valley Conference play (including 16.0 ppg over the past three games), the Columbia College basketball team (13-8, 3-1) will try to take sole possession of second place when it hosts College of the Sequoias of Visalia (10-9, 3-1) at 7 tonight in Oak Pavilion. In addition to Massey, the Claim Jumpers also have been getting strong offensive performances in CVC play from Collin Terry (16.8 ppg), Tallin Zimmer (14.6 ppg) and Derek Olich (10.6 ppg). In other CVC games tonight, first-place Fresno (24-0, 4-0) visits Modesto (10-12, 2-2), West Hills (6-13, 0-4) travels to Merced (10-10, 1-3) and Porterville (10-12, 1-3) hosts Reedley (10-11, 2-2).
