Little Leaguer pitches perfect game

Travis Workman pitched a perfect game as the Westside Reds of Tuolumne and Standard remained unbeaten by posting a 2-0 victory over the Westside Cardinals in Little League baseball.

Workman struck out 17 of the 18 batters he faced and also hit a triple and single and scored both runs as the Reds (12-0) clinched the Westside Major division title for 11- and 12-year-olds.

Art Cupler drove home Workman in the first inning and Dylan Coffin knocked in the other run in the fourth.
