Westside seniors defeat Foothill

VALLEY SPRINGS The Senior team representing Westside Little League baseball improved to 3-1 Wednesday with a 14-8 victory over Foothill.

Ryan Relei went 3-for-5 with a home run, a double and three runs batted in, Ryan Royce went 3-for-5 and Lucas Hoffman drove in the go-ahead run with a double in the top of the seventh inning.

Hoffman also got the pitching victory for the team of 15- and 16-year-olds representing Standard and Tuolumne.
