The Titans, the Big Heads, the Flying Red Devils and the River Rats roller hockey teams prevailed on High Country Hockeys Championship Saturday at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds.

The Squirt Division (12 and under) title game between the Titans and Kings was the game of the season as Cody Greenwood scored the tying goal with 20 seconds left in regulation time and Cory Bressler tallied in a shootout to give the Titans a 5-4 victory.

Three Kings were defending Greenwood when he put the equalizer into the net after taking a pass from Bressler. Goalie Evan Dambacher stopped all four Kings shooters in overtime.

The Big Heads won the Bantam (14 and under) title in thrilling fashion, too, 4-3 over the archrival Blue Devils. Alex Bressler scored two goals and netminder Tim Bressler stopped 23 of the last 24 shots he faced after early tallies by Chad Clark and John McGettigan of the Blue Devils.

Joshua Wikstrom scored two goals to pace the Flying Red Devils in the Atom (8 and under) finals, while Chelsea Lemons and Garrett Mumford scored and for the River Rats in the Mite (10 and under) title game. Joey Carne led the defense and Austin VanWormer tended goal for the Rats.
