At Linden, Westside (Tuolumne and Standard) stayed alive yesterday in the District 15 Major Traveling All-Star Tournament with a 10-2 victory over High Sierra behind the six-strikeout pitching of Phil Cupler and two hits apiece by Carson Gracia, Ricky McColloch and Brad Sooter.

Cupler added a hit, as did Zack Clapper and Mike Maschi. Clapper also drew a pair of walks.

Westside plays Linden tonight at 6 for the right to meet Calaveras American in the finals at 5:30 p.m. Friday. The Westside-Linden winner will have to beat Cal American twice to steal the title and advance to the section tourney.
