Calaveras American continued its roll through the double-elimination Majors tournament (11- to 12-year-olds) yesterday with a convincing 12-2 win over Ebbetts Pass (Arnold, Murphys, Avery) at Allen B. Hamilton West Field in Linden.

Calaveras American (Angels Camp and Copperopolis) will face Linden in a quarterfinal matchup at 2 p.m. Saturday on the West field. Linden toppled West Side (Tuolumne and Standard) 11-0 yesterday to advance.

In yesterday's elimination games, Woods Creek (Sonora and Columbia) sent Amador East packing with a 4-2 victory while High Sierra (Twain Harte, Soulsbyville, Belleview) bounced Calaveras National (San Andreas) from the tournament with a 12-1 victory.

In addition to Saturday's winners-bracket game between Calaveras American and Linden, there will be two elimination games at 11 a.m.: West Side versus Woods Creek on the East field and Ebbetts Pass versus High Sierra on the West field.
