Bowling scores soar in summer leagues

AFTER A NUMBER of weeks without many high scores, big games and series popped all over the summer-league map at Sonora Family Bowl.

The biggest were a 278 game by Terry Parker in Happy Fours and a 738 series by Dan Isam in Fun Thursday. Parker had a 664 series and Isam a 268 game.

Also hot were Randy Hunsaker with a 261 game and Alan Fulkerson with a 255-

661 in Fours, and Bill Kelly with a 244-650 in Summer Morning Rollers.

High women's scores were a 224 by Jackie Allen in Fours and a 218 by Joan Kasso in Thursday.

SUMMER LEAGUES still have room for teams and individual bowlers. Openings are available Sunday in Family Affair, Monday in Hot Summer Nights, Tuesday in both Golf and Bowl and No-Tap, Wednesday in Morning Rollers, Thursday in Fun Thursday, and Friday in Monte Carlo.
