CMS leads league at Mountain Springs

archive_import

THE ANNUAL Men's Twilight League is picking up steam at Mountain Springs after some early rainouts, and Rogers CMS is setting the pace through three weeks of play.

Jeff Burmester, Al Harfst, Larry Cordova and Al Thoburn have 36 points, four more than Dusty's Den (George Hart, John Martin, Randy Eckles, Dan Childress).

The 14-team league runs through the end of July.

JULY 19 is when Mountain Springs will host its qualifying for the nationwide Buick Scramble.

The winning team will qualify for regional play somewhere in Northern California, and the regional winner will advance to the national finals in Florida.
