K.C. Seiler pitched a no-hitter for the Bret Harte High School softball team in an 11-0 non-league victory over Livingston yesterday at Copello Park.

The junior right-hander struck out 12 in only five innings as the game was shortened by the 10-run-lead rule. She walked one batter and hit another.

"She threw very well," Bret Harte coach Todd Airola said.

The no-hitter was the second of the season for the Bullfrogs, who got one from Christian Pierrazi against Rio Vista earlier this month in the Modesto Christian Tournament.

Kim Artiaga, Ellie McCracken and Amanda Foldendorf led Bret Harte (6-8) at the plate. Artiaga doubled, tripled, drove in two runs and scored two; McCracken went 3-for-3 (all singles) and scored twice; and Foldendorf singled twice, knocked in two runs, scored once and stole a base.

The Bullfrogs return to Mother Lode League action next week, playing host to Summerville on Wednesday and visiting Argonaut on Friday.
