ALL-STAR HIGH SCHOOL HOOPS AT COLUMBIA

The Columbia College basketball program's "March Madness in the Mother Lode All-Star Game" will be played at 7 p.m. Saturday at Oak Pavilion.

The game will feature an East squad consisting of high school seniors from Sonora, Summerville, Mother Lode Christian, Bret Harte and Calaveras playing against a West squad from Oakdale, Riverbank, Escalon and Ripon Christian.

Columbia head coach Andy Vasher will coach one team and assistant coach Rich Murphy will head up the other.

Following the game, there will be a dunk contest and a 3-point shooting contest.

Tickets cost $5 for adults and $3 for students.
