Golf Cats improve to 3-0

IONE Andrew Silva shot a one-under-par 35 yesterday in leading the unbeaten Sonora High School boys' golf team to a 199-239 victory over Argonaut at Castle Oaks.

Loren Ksiazek matched par at 36 for the Wildcats (3-0), who shot their best score of the season by eight strokes. Brandon Schweitz added a 41, Sam Branco a 43, and Kyle Richards a 44.

Sonora's next match is Tuesday against Bret Harte (1-1) at Mountain Springs.
