Trash talk in the neighborhood

To the Editor:

It has been 7 years since I've moved to Tuolumne County, and before and since I've moved here everyone talked about the beauty, the "Small Town" feel and the sense of community.

If that is so, then why is it that so many people want to dump their trash in our neighborhood? Are you kidding me? I understand that this time of year is hard for all of us, but dumping you trash isn't acceptable, and you need to find another way.

As of this writing, we now have to look at tons of trash, which I've already picked up, but in addition to that we now find a broken refrigerator, a heater, and a lounge chair that has been there for two years. Let's not mention the Christmas tree someone dropped off three years ago.

Stop. If you need assistance in getting rid of your trash, ask. We will help, but let it be known by this letter if you continue to do this, our neighborhood will be in full force watching for you, and we will have you charged.
