Conserve and save?

To the Editor,

With Tuolumne Utilities District asking us to conserve our water use, I thought instead of just conserving I would not use any water for an entire service period.

I found that by cutting my water use by 100 percent, not using any water at all, my bill would be $54.12 compared to my normal bill of $66.42, for a savings of $12.30 or 18.5 percent.

I think I'll go take a shower.
