Summerville High School Performance was fabulous

To the Editor:

For those of you who missed the performance "A Night Among the Stars" at Summerville High's theatre, you missed out on a sterling musical highlighting "Bits of Broadway and A Dash of Disney." The performers from Summerville High & the Connections Academy were fabulous. They all showed such confidence and talent, you might think they were a professional touring group. The M.C., Ian Britton, had such a good time introducing all of the singers and dancers, you might think he was introducing "Dancing With the Stars."

Madeline Young is such a motivator and really knows how to get the best out of her students. Hats off to you, Madeline and your mom, Dorothy, who is always there for you on the piano and to Jeff Johnson who did such a wonderful job with the band. And a special thanks to you performers who absolutely "made my night."
