Highway Help

To the Editor:

I would like to thank the very nice gentleman who came to my rescue on Thursday, Sept. 29 at approximately 5 p.m. While driving along Mono Way, just past the Tin Man and the produce stand, the piece of lattice tied to the top of my Jeep came undone and flew into the highway. This good samaritan stopped so that I could safely pick up the lattice, then parked his truck and offered to carry the lattice in his truck so that I could get off of the highway before retying it to my Jeep.

Even though he was going to be late for an appointment, he was very willing to help me. I could never have managed by myself.

He has my deepest gratitude and I hope he was able to successfully conduct his business.
