Cold Springs resident Robert "Bob" Allen Mitchell died Monday at Sonora Regional Medical Center. He was 69.
Born in Oakland to Margaret and Allen Mitchell, he was a retired carpenter.
He lived in Cold Springs for 20 years.
He enjoyed skiing, especially at Dodge Ridge, being outdoors, fishing, hiking, sailing, going to the Sonora Pass, hiking and being in the mountains.
His nickname was "Bandana Bob."
Mr. Mitchell is survived by his wife of 27 years, Lynda Mitchell, of Cold Springs; Jessica Mitchell, of Durango, Colo., Cody Mitchell, of Richmond, Jason Smith, of Tuolumne, Jennifer McKinley, of Virginia, and Samantha Kuhnel, of Jamestown; and grandchildren, Lay'li and Akira Mitchell, and Anastasia Upshaw, all of Durango, Colo., Isaac Pierce, of Jamestown, and Caleb, Lillie and Dustin Smith, all of Tuolumne.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Rane Mitchell.
A memorial service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Sunday at the Steam Donkey in Pinecrest.

Valley Springs resident Judith C. Harrison died Sunday at her home. She was 68.
Born in Kansas, she worked in the food management industry for several years before becoming a homemaker.
She lived in Calaveras County for more than 10 years.
She enjoyed painting, sketching, jewelry making and a number of other artistic hobbies.
She is survived by her partner of 38 years, Salvatore R. Catanzarite, of Valley Springs; siblings, Mary Ellen Torquate and Mike Reeh, both of Southern California; children, Jay and Joy Harrison, both of Missouri, and Jody Harrison, of Tennessee; stepsons, James and Frankie Catanzarite, both of Mountain Ranch, and David Catanzarite, of Linden; 20 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in San Andreas, to be followed by a Mass and burial in St. Andrew's Catholic Cemetery.
A celebration of life will be held at her stepson's home in Linden after the burial.
San Andreas Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
Leonard 'Robbie' Robinson

Former Twain Harte resident Leonard "Robbie" Robinson died Jan. 2 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Saratoga. He was 91.
Born to Nelle Armistead and Albert Jackson Robinson in Brussels, Belgium, where his father was serving during World War I, the family moved to Waxahachie, Texas, after the war, where he attended school and sold newspapers, magazines and rabbits.
He moved to El Dorado, Ark., to attend high school while his father taught history and coached football at El Dorado High School.
He then returned to Waxahachie to attend Trinity University, where he played tennis and was editor of the school paper.
In the spring of 1941, he graduated and joined the U.S. Navy. The following year, he married Jeanne McElroy. She died in 1956.
He served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years. He fought in World War II, as a highly decorated dive bomber pilot on the U.S.S. Enterprise, and in the Korean War. Among his medals were a Purple Heart, Navy Cross and Air Medal.
After his first wife's death, he married Sue Holcomb. They were married for 35 years. She died in 1991.
He worked for Lockheed Missiles and Space Division for about 25 years, during which time he and his family lived in Saratoga in Santa Clara County. There, he was active in his children's many activities and volunteered for the Little League and Pony League baseball teams.
In the early 1990s, he retired from Lockheed, and he and his wife moved to Twain Harte. He was a member of the Lions Club, Sons in Retirement and Elks Club, as well as the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
After his second wife's death, he married Marion Achee. They moved to a Saratoga Retirement Community in the early 2000s. His third wife died of Alzheimer's disease in 2008.
He enjoyed animals, music, fishing and golf.
In addition to his wives, Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by his two sons, Leonard Robinson Jr. and James Andrew Robinson.
He is survived by his children, Diane Robinson Wood, of Baltimore, Md., Deborah Robinson Downs, of Monte Sereno, Carol Robinson Glover, of Atlanta, Ga., Richard Thomas Robinson, of Tyler, Texas, John Michael Robinson, of Angels Camp, and Lawrence Fisher Robinson, of Boerne, Texas; eight grandchildren; and three great-granddaughters.
A memorial service has already been held at the Saratoga Federated Church.

Steven Arnold Flud died Jan. 5 at his Sonora home. He was 51.
He lived in Sonora for about 25 years. He worked as a tree climber most of his life until a limb fell, injuring his neck. Then he worked as a handyman when he was able.
His interests included riding his motorcycle.
Mr. Flud was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Thomason, in 2008; his grandmother, Kathryn Reeves, in 1975; and grandparents, Nathan Flud in 1972 and Ruby Flud in 1997.
He is survived by his mother, Juanita Thomason, of Sonora; a sister, Cindi Owens, of Sonora; brother, Alan Flud, of Sonora; stepbrother, Ted Thomason, of Sonora; sisters-in-law, Roz Flud and Ann Wever, both of Sonora; nieces, Desiree and Shelby Flud and Heather and Michelle Thomason, all of Sonora; and nephews, KC Owens and Alex Flud and his wife Kathryn, all of Sonora.
