Sedora M. Shewmake, 75, of Tuolumne died Saturday at her home.
Mrs. Shewmake was a native of Florida, and had lived in Tuolumne since 1945.
She owned and operated Tuolumne Frosty from 1958 to 1968.
Mrs. Shewmake is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Martha and Andy Cusack of Tuolumne and Dianna Murray of Sonora; two brothers, William and Jacob Houch, both of Florida; a sister, Alpha J. Kamm of Florida; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thedford Shewmake, in 1994.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Terzich and Wilson Tuolumne Chapel. Inurnment will be private at Carters Cemetery.
Donations may be made to a favorite charity.

Jacqueline Joann (Doorman) Goodman, 71, of Sonora died Saturday at a Sonora hospital.
Mrs. Goodman was born and raised in New York, N.Y., and moved 45 years ago to to San Leandro, where she raised her children. She and her husband bought property in Sonora more than 40 years ago, and she moved here more than 30 years ago.
She was a waitress for many years in the Bay Area and after moving to Sonora, she was a full-time homemaker.
She enjoyed bowling. Her family said her greatest love was doing things for her children and that her family was of greatest importance to her.
Her son said she was "the greatest mom in the whole world."
Mrs. Goodman is survived by her husband of 53 years, John Thomas Goodman of Sonora; a daughter, Patricia Goodman of Sonora; two sons, Michael and Robert Goodman of Sonora; five grandchildren, Devin and Bobbie Goodman, both of Sonora, Michelle and Mikey Goodman, both of Fremont and Nicole Goodman of San Lorenzo; and three great-grandchildren, Angel, Christopher and Brian, all of Fremont.
A Mass in her memory will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Sunday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church Sonora. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Jennifer Lynn Coons, 21, of Sonora died Sunday at a Sonora hospital.
Miss Coons was born in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho, and grew up in Modesto, Mariposa and Reno.
She had worked at the Atlantis Hotel Health Spa in Reno and was working toward a career as a massage therapist.
Her family said she loved people and also enjoyed camping.
Miss Coons is survived by her mother, Marsha Coons of Sonora; her father and stepmother, David and Shirley Coons of Reno; two sisters, her twin, Janiele of Corona, and Jessica Holland of Homestead, Fla.; a brother, Jason Coons of Sonora; a stepsister, Tricia Rummel of Montana; a stepbrother, Robert Rummel of Montana; and grandparents, Daniel and Doris Coons of Missoula, Mont.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the service.

Frederique B. Chervin, 95, of Oakdale died Friday at an Oakdale care home.
Mrs. Chervin was a native of San Francisco and had lived in Tuolumne for two years before moving to Oakdale four years ago.
She was a secretary for Continental Casualty Insurance Company for 20 years.
Mrs. Chervin is survived by her daughter, Rosanne Thrapp of Tuolumne; a granddaughter; and four great-grandchildren.
Private services will be held. Burial will be at Hills of Eternity Memorial Park, Colma. Oakdale Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Helen Bettanini, 91, of Jamestown died Monday at a Sonora care home.
Mrs. Bettanini was born in Chicago and had lived in Jamestown for the past 68 years.
She was a cook at Twain Harte Lodge for seven years. She also was a waitress at former Sonora restaurants the Europa and the Rancho.
Her family said she was a good, honest person.
Mrs. Bettanini is survived by a son, Clarence Otto of Sonora; a daughter-in-law, Marlene Otto of Sonora; a brother and sister-in-law, George and Bobette Myers of Colusa, Colusa County; a niece, Patricia Koffman of Boise, Idaho; four grandsons, Raymond J. Otto of Germany, Thomas and Joseph Lang, both of New York and Justin Diaz and his wife, Maria, of Ohio; and a great-granddaughter, Emily Diaz of Ohio.
No service is planned. Burial will be at Cherokee Memorial Park, Lodi. Heuton Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
CAMP Patricia Camp, 74, residence unlisted, died Tuesday at a Sonora hospital. Heuton Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
GRAHAM Eugene Christopher "Chris" Graham, 31, of Tuolumne, died Saturday in a car crash on Highway 120 east of Oakdale. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
