Mary Loomis

Longtime San Andreas resident Mary Loomis died Saturday at a San Andreas hospital. She was 89.

She was born in Angels Camp and lived in San Andreas for 70 years. She worked as a clerk at the post office in San Andreas for 25 years. She was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church.

She is survived by her brother, Pete Voinich of Angels Camp; a niece, Jean Johnson of Angels Camp; a great-niece, Janee' Johnson of Angels Camp; and a great-nephew, Glen Johnson of Angels Camp.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Loomis.

Visitation will be from 1-6:30 p.m. today at San Andreas Memorial Chapel. A vigil service will be at 6:30 p.m. today at the chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. tomorrow at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in San Andreas. Burial will be at Altaville Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial donations can be made to St. Andrew's Catholic Church Altar Society, in care of St. Andrew's Catholic Church, P.O. Box 550, San Andreas, CA 95249.
