July 29, 1927 March 18, 2003

Albert Charles "Al" Minietta, 75, a former resident of Twain Harte, died March 18 while on the golf course in Lake Havasu, Ariz.

An avid golfer, he had a golf ball clutched in his hand at the time of his death, family members said.

When he retired in the 1980s, he moved to Twain Harte, where he enjoyed golfing and exercising. He later worked part time at Twain Harte Golf Club for many years.

He had lived in Lake Havasu for the past two years.

Mr. Minietta is survived by the mother of his children, Ruth Minietta of San Jose; two sons, Neil Minietta of Sacramento and Alan Minietta of Denver; and a brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Mary Minietta of Washington.

He was inurned with his parents and an older brother, Michael Minietta, in San Jose. At his request, there were no services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Anyone interested in attending should leave their name and phone number at 586-1883.
