The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

10:05 a.m., found property - A meth pipe was found on a grave on West Lytton Street.

2:32 p.m., animal complaints - A dog in a parked car on Sanguinetti Road was in distress and transported to animal control.

8:26 p.m., animal complaints - Officers transported a foot-long snake at a South Washington Street post office to another location.

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

8:26 a.m., Jamestown - A woman on Lake Drive said her neighbor acted "weird" when he was drunk.

12:52 p.m., Twain Harte - A man on Wildwood Drive suspected his neighbor poisoned his dog.

2:10 p.m., Sonora area - Someone claiming to be from the IRS called a woman on Brook Drive asking how she filed her tax return. She said she didn't want money to "start disappearing" from her bank account.

10:09 p.m., Sonora area - A man on Madre Drive received an "incriminating" text from someone he believed stole his items while he was in jail.

11 p.m., Jamestown - Someone on Bench Drive was drunk and threw bottles into their neighbor's yard.

11:26 a.m., Sonora area - Chad Cole Hilton, 28, of the 18700 block of Highway 108, was booked on suspicion of forgery and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest at his home.

12:57 p.m., Sonora - Michael Lewis Rogers, 52, of the 10900 block of Green Street, Columbia, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest on the first block of Pesce Way.

1:25 p.m., Sonora - Stephen Allen Smith, 36, of the 22400 block of South Airport Road, Columbia, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, possession of a concealed weapon, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest on the first block Pesce Way.

11:52 a.m., Copperopolis - A house on Copper Meadows Drive was burglarized.

12:57 p.m., Vallecito - A suspicious man walked around a Camp Nine Road neighborhood. Deputies confirmed he was a pest-control worker.

1:33 p.m., Jenny Lind - Someone on Cabernet Street said noise from orchard equipment disturbed the neighbors.

4:27 p.m., Copperopolis - Someone on Little John Road called 911 and said "Ooh, I got the wrong number" and hung up.

7:40 p.m., Arnold - Someone rode a dirt bike through a Highway 4 golf course.

THURSDAY

1:32 a.m., Arnold - A woman on Doe Court thought someone was behind her house.

4:09 a.m., Valley Springs - A woman on McNeil Court said she thought she heard her garage door open, but no one was there and she had dialed 911 "prematurely."

7:07 a.m., Valley Springs - Someone on Hedgpeth road stole a backpack full of school work.
