Fire in Sonora

7:30 PM UPDATE: The fire was contained at 7:15 p.m. at 2 acres. No structures were damaged and no injuries were reported. Cabazut is now open to one-way traffic.

Firefighters are working to contain a wildfire burning on Cabazut Road.

The fire was reported at 6:10 p.m. and is burning near Covey Circle.

Two airplanes and a helicopter are working to extinguish the fire, in addition to several engines.

The fire has burned 2 to 3 acres and is threatening three structures, including Foothill Pediatrics.

Cabazut is closed.
