The Tuolumne County Sheriff's Office this morning continued to search for a missing 63-year-old woman last seen leaving a Columbia-area home.

Kathy Fiore left her family's home on the 22000 block of Sawmill Flat Road at 11:15 a.m. Monday. She was last seen by a resident of the house, according to Sheriff's Sgt. Scott Johnson.

Fiore is 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds. She has collar-length blonde-grey hair and walks with the assistance of a cane.

She was last seen wearing a light-colored tank top, light brown shorts and a dark sweatshirt. She was also carrying a cane, Johnson said.

Johnson said Fiore takes medication which could cause disorientation.

Fiore along with her daughter, Lisa Verbeck Wooldridge, and her 16-year-old grandson, both of Southern California, were staying with Fiore's sister in Columbia when she was reported missing.

The Tuolumne County Search and Rescue Team today was searching for Fiore with the help of a helicopter from Stanislaus County Sheriff's Office.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 533-5815.
