The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


4:45 a.m., suspicious circumstances - A black vehicle drove in circles at a Greenley Road parking lot.

7:52 a.m., unclassified - Someone on South Stewart Street said an air-conditioning unit on city property was damaged.

9:14 a.m., civil problem - A man on South Shepherd Street said his wife had an airline ticket to "move out of state."

12:27 p.m., public nuisance - A panhandler on Sanguinetti Road was admonished.

1:27 p.m., unwanted person - A man on Yaney Avenue slept on someone's porch.

1:38 p.m., harassment - A woman on South Washington Street wearing a clown shirt harassed a business employee.

5:54 p.m., property damage - A parking sign on South Washington Street fell and damaged a vehicle.

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


9:20 a.m., Long Barn - A woman on Shasta Drive said a neighbor parked on her property and "impeded" the property sale.

10:48 a.m., Sonora area - A man on Old Oak Ranch Road trespassed on a road and said he used the road all the time and would continue to do so because it belonged to a utility company.

11:21 a.m., Long Barn - Someone on Shasta Drive said they were "more than reasonable" with an easement dispute.

3:33 p.m., Twain Harte - Someone on Lakewood Drive took a garbage can and threw it down a mountain.

6:54 p.m., Sonora area - A woman on Curtis Circle changed the locks on her husband's home and rented it out to someone.


5:16 a.m., Twain Harte - Four people on Cedar Springs Road were lying on a driveway.


The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


9:57 a.m., Mokelumne Hill - A man on West Center Street yelled at someone walking a dog.

12:59 p.m., San Andreas - A phone in San Andreas misdialed 911 from a washer or dryer.

6:48 p.m., San Andreas - An argument on Berry Street led to a damaged vehicle.

Felony bookings


4:39 p.m., Valley Springs - Robert Lee Vaughn, 47, of the 400 block of La Contenta Way, was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol with prior convictions and misdemeanor driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

10:30 p.m., Angels Camp - Jesse Odell Franks, 39, of the first block of North Main Street, was booked on suspicion of making criminal threats after an arrest at his home.
