The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


12:53 p.m., reckless driving - A vehicle on Greenley Road drove recklessly and made "erratic lane changes."

12:58 p.m., suspicious circumstances - A delivery driver on South Barretta Street was concerned a "scruffy" man would steal a package he dropped off.

6:31 p.m., theft - A woman wearing tight red pants stole from a South Washington Street store.

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


10:35 a.m., Jamestown - Someone slept in a tent at a Chicken Ranch Road property.

2:41 p.m., Twain Harte - A man on Marquis Drive said his friend spoke "gibberish" and sent him harassing texts.

4:08 p.m., Sonora area - Someone on Mono Way stole items from a donation site.

6:41 p.m., Columbia - A man at a Parrotts Ferry Road mobile home park asked someone strange questions.

7:48 p.m., Twain Harte - A woman and several kids on Lakeview Lane spray painted rocks and moss at a drained lake.


12:37 a.m., Sonora area - Two female teenagers parked in a car on Tuolumne Road were told to go home "due to curfew."

1:37 a.m., Twain Harte - A woman on Blue Oak Gulch Road was concerned her cats would be harmed by the three mountain lions and a white "Bengal tiger" with three kittens she saw in her yard. Deputies on scene saw none of said wildlife.

Felony bookings


12:47 p.m., Sonora- James Loren Hanson, 22, of the 300 block of Elk Drive, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of ammunition after an arrest at his home.

2:20 p.m., Sonora - Faith Anne Weatheralblock, 24, of the 300 block of Elk Drive, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest at her home.

7:35 p.m., Sonora - Rene Lynn Frazier, 29, of the 1800 block of Maid Marion Lane, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of petty theft after an arrest on Forest and Stockton roads.


The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


9:39 a.m., Valley Springs - Someone said a woman at a Driver Road school was suspicious. Deputies confirmed she was there waiting for a meeting.

2:56 p.m., Valley Springs - Someone on Dunn Road drove around and tried to "demonstrate" carpet cleaners.

4:34 p.m., Burson - Someone on Warren Road heard a group of men on horseback yell.

10:11 p.m., Mokelumne Hill - Someone on Church Street heard banging noises.

Felony bookings


10:11 a.m., Valley Springs - Glenn Bell, 75, of the 18900 block of Highway 12, Sonoma, was booked on suspicion of attempted murder, assault, making criminal threats, battery, false imprisonment with violence, and kidnapping after an arrest on Lime Creek Road at Highway 12.


Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


11:57 p.m., Arnold - Christopher Robert Clothier, 29, of the 3800 block of Kansas Street, Oakland, was booked after an arrest on Highway 4 at Blagen Road.
