TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

10:05 a.m., controlled substances - Expired prescription pills were dropped off at the police station on South Green Street.

12:31 p.m., animal complaints - Five sick cats at a home on Fairview Lane were transported to animal control.

4:04 p.m., disorderly conduct - A man on Hospital Road was "ranting" and swearing at postal employees.

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

9:59 a.m., Sonora area - Someone on Wildcat Ridge said a neighbor illegally parked her car on their easement.

10:49 a.m., Soulsbyville - A woman at a gas station on Soulsbyville Road left with the hose attached to her car.

5:05 p.m., Tuolumne - A woman at a campground at Cottonwood and Fish Hatchery roads said her credit card was stolen by another "group member" at a "clean and sober" camping trip.

5:32 p.m., La Grange - A woman on Buena Vista Drive said two dead deer near her home need to be picked up.

9:21 p.m., Strawberry - A woman on Clarks Fork Road said she was verbally abused by her mother and wanted her taken to jail. Deputies informed her a crime was not committed and they could not take her mother to jail.

10:11 p.m. Sonora area - A man on Serrano Road said a woman waved a "metal stick" in his face and threatened to destroy his plants.

10:43 p.m., Jamestown - Someone on Lone Bend Road said neighbors rode dune buggies and made too much noise.

FRIDAY

12:01 a.m., Columbia - A woman on Cattle Drive Trail said her husband was "breaking down."

THURSDAY

2:03 p.m., Sonora - Forrest Leonard Jones Jr., 43, of the 100 block of Brookside Place, was booked on suspicion of child cruelty, burglary and misdemeanor vandalism after an arrest at his home.

11:30 p.m., Jamestown - Gabriel Vincente Villegas, 21, of the 19400 block of McKinley Avenue, Manteca, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest on Highway 49 and Main Street.

THURSDAY

4:08 p.m., Sonora area - Randy Murray Stephenson, 53, of the 400 block of Fensalir Avenue, Pleasant Hill, was booked after an arrest on the 20900 block of Jamestown Road.

9:28 p.m., Twain Harte - Nathan Lee Vantrece, 30, of the 14500 block of Oakwood Court, Sonora, was booked after an arrest on Joaquin Gully and Fuller roads.

11:22 p.m., Jamestown - Gabriel Villegas Sr., 40, of the 600 block of Stewart Street, Manteca, was booked after an arrest on Highway 49 at Main Street.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

8:46 a.m., Burson -A man on Warren Road said people were at his gate and he wanted them to leave.

9:59 a.m., Copperopolis - A man on Basket Lane said a vehicle was parked in front of his gate.

11:46 a.m., Copperopolis - Someone on Quill Road heard loud "booms."

11:48 a.m., Valley Springs - Someone on Baldwin Street heard a loud "boom."

3:41 p.m., Valley Springs - Someone on Baldwin Street said a window to a vehicle was "popped out."

6:07 p.m., Angels Camp - A baby on Stallion Way dialed 911 and hung up.

8:29 p.m., Valley Springs - Someone on St. Petersburg and South Ranchero roads said neighbors attempted to run them off the road with a vehicle and sic a pit bull on them.

FRIDAY

3:28 a.m., San Andreas - Someone on Gold Oak Road said a "medium-sized" group partied with loud music and barking dogs.

Felony bookings

THURSDAY

11:45 a.m., San Andreas - Kayla Ann Marie Moreland, 23, of the 3700 block of Highway 49, was booked on suspicion of bringing drugs into jail and misdemeanor being under the influence of drugs.
