The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

3:12 p.m., miscellaneous codes - A transient charged his phone and panhandled at a business on Pesce Way.

10:07 p.m., disorderly conduct - A woman on Columbia Way was in an argument with her brother-in-law.

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

11:31 a.m., Sonora area - A woman on Berg Court said another woman stole items from her wallet. Deputies asked if she saw the other woman steal and she became "angry" and said, "Well, she is the only one who could've done this!"

1:19 p.m., Twain Harte - Someone on South Fork and Middle Camp roads said they saw a slender man with a crossbow run behind a house.

1:49 p.m., Sonora area - A woman on Meadow Brook Drive said her ex-husband was provoking her to violate her court order to "be good."

4:42 p.m., Jamestown - A woman on Jamestown Road said her cat was shot with a BB gun and it needed surgery.

9:16 p.m., East Sonora - An arrest was made at the Moose Lodge on Longeway Road after someone reported two females attempting to pick a lock.

10:35 p.m., Tuolumne - A woman on Maranatha Drive said she heard a loud crash and her power was out.

11:12 p.m., Jamestown - A man at a motel on Highway 108 was causing a disturbance in the lobby because he did not have a microwave in his room as he requested.

FRIDAY

5:31 a.m., Sonora area - Someone on Cabezut Road and Shannon Drive said they saw a man duck into the bushes when they walked by. Deputies responded and confirmed the man caught a snake a few days ago and was returning it to the bushes.

Felony bookings

THURSDAY

10:46 a.m., Jamestown - Joshua Brandon Eisenla, 35, of the 700 block of Muir Road, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of burglary and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest on Highway 108 at Rawhide Road.

3:32 p.m., Sonora area - Michael Robert Bowers, 38, of the 18000 block of Jacobs Road, was booked on suspicion of burglary and conspiracy to commit a crime after an arrest at his home.

3:32 p.m. Sonora area - Jennifer Leanne Truelock, 38, of the 18000 block of Jacobs Road, was booked on suspicion of burglary and conspiracy to commit a crime after an arrest at her home.

5 p.m., Pinecrest - Stephen Clay Woody, 41, of an unknown address in Strawberry, was booked on assault and misdemeanor disorderly conduct with alcohol after an arrest at a Herring Creek campground.

9:40 p.m. East Sonora - Patience Marie Gilbert, 23, of the 18800 block of Manzanita Drive, Twain Harte, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, and misdemeanor trespassing and possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest on the 20900 block of Longeway Road.

3 p.m., East Sonora - Donald Eric Jacobson, 69, of the 24400 block of Dapplegray Lane, was booked after an arrest at Phoenix Lake and Hess roads.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

12:35 p.m., Angels Camp - Someone said a man was lying on the side of the road on Highway 4 at Deer Creek Drive. Deputies responded and were unable to locate anyone.

1:01 p.m., Murphys - Someone on Highway 4 and Williams Street said they saw an "unoccupied" wheelchair.

3:27 p.m., Valley Springs - Someone at a mobile home park on Highway 12 said a babysitter was not at a residence "as expected."

THURSDAY

6:20 p.m., Wallace - Philip Eldon Fernandez, 61, of the 5900 block of Clements Place, Valley Springs, was booked after an arrest on Highway 12 at Ward Avenue.
