Slaying suspect arraigned

A Twain Harte woman was arraigned this afternoon in Tuolumne County Superior Court on a felony murder charge in the killing of Ricky Roberts.

Cheryl Lynn Lucero, 45, is also charged with an enhancement of using firearm in the commission of the crime, said Tuolumne County District Attorney Mike Knowles.

Lucero appeared briefly in court at 2:45 p.m. and was returned to custody. She's held in the Tuolumne County Jail on $1 million bail.

Lucero faces up to 50 years-to-life in prison if convicted of both crimes, Knowles said.
