The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


7:36 a.m., suspicious circumstances - A man on the 200 block of South Washington Street acted suspiciously. He told officers he was upset with the ATM and they advised him to contact the bank when it opened.

10:39 a.m., theft - A woman on the 500 block of East Oakside Drive said her blanket was stolen.

10:41 a.m., citizen assist - A woman on Greenley Road flagged down an officer and said she left her purse at her friend's house and was unable to contact the friend.

7:23 p.m., animal complaints - A woman at a West Stockton Street hotel said two dogs were locked in a room since 10 a.m.

8:10 p.m., reckless driving - Three to four pickups were doing "doughnuts" at a parking lot on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road.

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


6:51 p.m., Sonora area - Someone on Cavalieri Road "threw gas" everywhere.

11:42 p.m., Jamestown - Someone at a store on Highway 108 said he believed people broke into a house and cooked breakfast.

11:44 p.m., Sonora area - A Feather River Drive man said he was sent harassing messages by his step-son's father.


7:01 a.m., Tuolumne - A woman at a hotel on Tuolumne Road North called 911 and said she had no emergency and did not know how she dialed.

Felony bookings


12:05 a.m., Sonora area - Andrew Jonathon Buster, 22, of the 21900 block of Sawmill Flat Road, was booked on suspicion of violating probation and possession of prohibited ammunition after an arrest at his home.

2:05 p.m., Tuolumne - Christina Michelle Santana, 26, of the 800 block of Ramona Avenue, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of assault after an arrest on the 18400 block of Tuolumne Road.


The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


2:44 p.m., Arnold - Someone on Seminole Way said there were suspicious salesmen in the area.

6:48 p.m., Valley Springs - Someone at a mobile home park on Highway 12 said someone fraudulently used a credit card.

8:52 p.m., Valley Springs - Someone on Dunn Road screamed and yelled at the neighbors.

10:37 p.m., Angels Camp - Someone at Highway 49 and Whittle Road walked in the middle of the roadway.

11:37 p.m., Valley Springs - Loud music was heard on Heinemann Drive.

Felony bookings


2:00 p.m., Glencoe - Stephanie Dawn Commons, 47, of the 1400 block of Highway 26, was booked on suspicion of assault after an arrest at her home.


Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


12:58 a.m., Angels Camp - Joshua Blaine Hutton, 25, of an unknown address in Jamestown, was booked after an arrest on the 1200 block of Fairview Drive.
