The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


8:56 a.m., reckless driving - Someone on South Washington Street said they saw a vehicle swerve off the road twice.

10:35 a.m., disorderly conduct - A man on Washington Street caused a noise disturbance.

12:20 p.m., disorderly conduct - A youth riding a bicycle on South Washington Street refused to leave the area.

4:21 p.m., vandalism - A man on East Lyons Street said a neighbor threw dog feces on his lawn.

6:13 p.m., animal complaints - An injured cat on Oakside Drive appeared to have been hit by a car.

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


10:21 a.m., Twain Harte - A dog on Gopher Drive was shot with an arrow and critically injured.

11:19 a.m., Twain Harte - A man on Twain Harte Drive allowed a woman to stay at his house for two nights and then found items missing.

8:16 p.m., Sonora area - A man on Fortuna Mine Road heard a loud explosion. Deputies confirmed the "bang" came from his neighbor using an acetylene torch to kill gophers.

10:05 p.m., Tuolumne - A "highly intoxicated" woman on Rozier Avenue punched another woman in the face and pulled her hair.

Felony bookings


4:05 p.m., Jamestown - Crystal Michelle Goldstein, 30, of the 8400 block of Tuolumne Road was booked on suspicion of attempted murder and making criminal threats after an arrest on the 17900 block of Seco Street.


Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


2:30 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village - Ashley Craig Sanderson, 45, of the 100 block of Redwood Drive, Woodacre, was booked after an arrest at a campground on the 24600 block of Highway 108.


The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


7:35 a.m., West Point - A family on Main Street argued over a television.

9:25 a.m., Murphys - A vehicle on Algiers Street was parked "where it shouldn't be."

10:09 a.m., Murphys - A five-gallon bucket of paint was dumped on the sidewalk on Big Trees Road.

11:13 a.m., Burson - Someone on Brandy Lane heard "a lot of yelling" from a house on the corner.

6:38 p.m., Valley Springs - Occupants of a fifth-wheel trailer on Quail Oaks Road argued.

7:19 p.m., Valley Springs - A man on Hanley Drive stole a neighbor's property and said he "will be returning for more."

9:47 p.m., Valley Springs - A woman on Highway 12 damaged a roof of a vehicle.

10:57 p.m., Valley Springs - A property on Milton Road was toilet-papered.
