The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


10:12 a.m., suspicious circumstances - Someone said their "ex" transported their child without a safety seat to a Sanguinetti Road store.

1:15 p.m., traffic accidents - A man said his wife "may have" hit a parked car at a Sanguinetti Road parking lot.

7:59 p.m., fight - A tenant and landlord on Ash Street argued.

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


9:36 a.m., Jamestown - A woman on Highway 108 thought the neighbors were going to shoot her dogs.

10:33 a.m., Sonora area - A woman on Madrone Circle said her neighbor yelled and threatened to kill someone. The neighbor told deputies he yelled because raccoons were getting into his house and he hit his head.

5:13 p.m., Jamestown - A small long-haired terrier on Main Street bit someone on the hand.

6:31 p.m., Tuolumne - A woman on Birch Street said she felt her privacy was violated by her neighbor's security cameras.

9:09 p.m., Sonora area -Michael Cody Valentine, 22, of the 19000 block of Andra Drive was booked on suspicion of drug possession after an arrest at Mono Way and Cavaleri Road.

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


10:21 a.m., Angels Camp - A woman on Stallion Way accidentally dialed 911 while driving with her grandpa.

1:50 p.m., Burson - Someone on Foothill Lane said their neighbor's "excessive target shooting" bothered the animals.

3:25 p.m., Arnold - A man on Meadow Drive broke things in a house.

8:51 p.m., Valley Springs - Two women at a mobile home park on Highway 12 had an argument over an ongoing issue.

10:11 p.m., Valley Springs - A man at a fast-food restaurant on Highway 12 had an "apparent interest" with one of their workers.


Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


8 a.m., Valley Springs - James Darril Higgins, 61, of the 7300 block of Tapadero Street, Angels Camp, was booked after an arrest on Highway 12 and California Street.
