The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


12:40 p.m., miscellaneous codes - Mattresses were dumped behind a business on South Stewart Street.

2:02 p.m., suspicious circumstances - Someone saw two people wearing sunglasses walking "slowly" down East Jackson Street.

4:19 p.m., unclassified - A bicyclist ran into a wall on Wrights Lane.

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


8:15 a.m., East Sonora - A deputy removed a large bag of trash from the middle of Highway 108.

9:50 a.m., Sonora area - A man on Sullivan Creek Road said his ex-girlfriend told him she was going to "make up lies" to get him in trouble.

10:09 a.m., Columbia - A woman on Highway 49 was arguing with her husband.

1:21 p.m., Twain Harte - A man on Fallen Leaf Lane said he let a woman borrow his vehicle about a month ago and has not heard from her or seen his vehicle since.

2:43 p.m., Jamestown - Someone at a mobile home park on Highway 108 said their wallet was taken when they were sleeping.

Felony bookings


2:47 a.m., Sonora - Brook Lea Walsh, 33, of the 600 block of Lyons Street, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, violation of probation and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road.

7:29 p.m., Jamestown - Charles Kevin Curtis, 59, of the 100 block of Preston Place, was booked on suspicion of assault, drug possession and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

9:25 p.m., Sonora - Guillermo Saucedo Bernal, 27, of the 21200 block of Crestview Drive, was booked on suspicion of assault after an arrest on the 800 block of Sanguinetti Road.


Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


8:51 p.m., East Sonora - Joseph Robert Christ, 21, of the 18300 block of Avenida Bonita, was booked after an arrest on Highway 108, west of upper Mono Way.


The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


8:41 a.m., Valley Springs - Someone on Laurel Street said their tires were slashed and a sticky substance sprayed on their car.

1:18 p.m., Angels Camp - Someone on Mary Belle Way said a person who was fired took a crate full of moving equipment.


2:56 a.m., San Andreas - A man was screaming as he walked on West Saint Charles Street.

3:43 a.m., San Andreas - Someone on Market Street and Russell Road said they heard a man yelling.
