Water leak impacts Arnold

By Mike Morris / The Union Democrat

Water will be turned off until later this afternoon in the Blagen Road area of Arnold.

A leak in a water transmission line under the road was reported about 7 a.m. Wednesday, and water will be turned off in the area until Calaveras County Water District crews repair the pipe.

The Arnold Branch Library, Ebbetts Pass Fire Protection District station, Arnold Pet Clinic, Sierra Meadows Apartments and a few homes will be without water until the leak is fixed, CCWD said.

Water service is expected to return to the area between 3 and 5 p.m. Wednesday.
