Accident on Highway 49

The California Highway Patrol this morning is responding to an injury auto accident on Highway 49, near Jackass Hill Road.

According to CHP, the driver, a man from Angels Camp, was pinned in a gold Volkswagen after it went off the road and collided with a tree.

The accident was reported at 8:10 a.m.
