TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

9:10 a.m., vehicle theft - A woman was arrested for stealing a vehicle after breaking into a home on Wyckoff Street to retrieve the keys.

1:34 p.m., reckless driving - A man on Mono Way said he was confronted by a driver who cut him off and they smelled like alcohol.

2:52 p.m., public peace - A man described as large, balding and wearing glasses was demanding a refund and refusing to leave from a fast-food restaurant on Mono Way.

9:27 p.m., suspicious circumstances - Officers responded to a report of bright lights on Greenley Road. They were unable to locate where the source of the lights.

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

8:41 a.m., Jamestown - A man on Ninth Street said there was a brown-and-white motorhome parked outside his residence. Three men and one woman were staying in the motorhome and "causing a ruckus" in the neighborhood.

1:27 p.m., Jamestown- A man was causing a noise disturbance when he was arguing with his mother who would not "take her oxygen."

3:59 p.m., Sonora area - Deputies advised an arguing couple on Chukar Circle to "keep the noise level down".

7:23 p.m., Twain Harte - Someone said a man wearing a ponytail and a blue shirt was at Twain Harte Lake on Lakeview Drive shooting a BB or pellet gun at birds and other small animals.

7:29 p.m., Sonora area - A woman at a residence on Lori Lane called and said she was in an argument with her mother's boyfriend. Deputies asked her if she lived at the home, she said "Fine, I'll leave," and hung up.

10:16 p.m., Jamestown - Someone in a wheelchair said a man threw his dog at the door at a residence on Highway 108.

11:56 p.m., Groveland - A man at a residence on Yosemite Springs Road said he had "two rum and Cokes, half and half." He also said a woman "flipped out on him" after he came to her home to do yard work.

Felony bookings

THURSDAY

9:30 p.m., Sonora area - William Robert Muller, 54, of the 14100 block of Tuolumne Road was booked on suspicion of battery and making criminal threats after an arrest at his home.

3:02 p.m., Sonora -Susan Plevancic, 47, of the 11600 block of Yankee Hill Road was booked on suspicion of vehicle theft, robbery, assault and cruelty to an elderly dependant, at the Tuolumne County Jail, where she was incarcerated on other charges.

12:27 p.m., Columbia - Ronald Alan York, 59, of the 23500 block of Carlotta Terrace was booked on suspicion of failing to register as a sex offender after an arrest at his home.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

8:17 a.m., Valley Springs - A burglary was reported at a garage and shed on Grouse Drive.

9:07 a.m., Angels Camp - Someone on Murphys Road said their tools were stolen.

9:10 a.m., Murphys - Someone broke into an office on Scott Street and stole a computer monitor.

9:31 a.m., San Andreas - Someone at a restaurant on East Saint Charles Street pocket-dialed 911 when they were "sitting down to eat."
