The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


2:43 p.m., traffic accident - A woman said she hit a parked truck at North Stewart and East Jackson streets.

5:18 p.m., suspicious circumstances - Someone said a man wearing a black dress lifted up his dress when they walked by and he was now sleeping on the ground on North Forest Road.

8:42 p.m., reckless driving - Someone called 911 and said a man was driving erratically and yelling out his window for someone named Troy.

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


8:48 a.m., Columbia - A woman at a motel on Parrotts Ferry Road requested advice about her daughter's "mental well-being."

8:51 a.m., La Grange - A man at a business on Merced Falls Road said he fired his estranged wife in March but she continued to show up for work and bartend. He also believed she stole money and alcohol from him.

10:34 a.m., Sonora area - A woman on Red Chestnut Lane thought someone was in their vehicle watching her. She was unable to describe the car and was afraid to look out to the street.

6:25 p.m., Jamestown - A woman said she saw "the town drunk" go into a vacant business on Main Street.

Felony bookings


2:52 p.m., Sonora area - Michael Jason Fisher, 42, of the 16200 block of Big Hill Road, was booked on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm after an arrest at his home.

4:55 p.m., Tuolumne - Nicole Elizabeth Owens, 39, of the 18400 block of Main Street, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor paraphernalia possession after an arrest at her home.

9:00 p.m., Twain Harte - Michael Joseph Ciabatti, 31, of the 22800 block of Blackhawk Drive, was booked on suspicion of drug possession for sale and misdemeanor paraphernalia possession after an arrest on the 22900 block of Twain Harte Drive.


Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


11:15 p.m., Sonora - Ronald David Rice, 66, of the 10800 block of Robin Wood Lane, was booked after an arrest at Shepherd and Jackson streets.


The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


8:38 a.m., Sheep Ranch - Suspected sheep fraud was reported on Main Street.

10:20 a.m., Copperopolis - Someone on O'Byrnes Ferry Road and Pheasant Run Drive said homeless people appeared to be camping in a field.

11:51 a.m., Angels Camp - A man on Highway 49 said he had an ongoing issue with "some trespassers that are affiliated PG&E."

12:49 p.m., Jenny Lind - Someone in a brown car vandalized mailboxes on Shelton Road.

1:02 p.m., Copperopolis - A tractor was driving erratically on Signal Hill Trail.

10:56 p.m., Murphys - Kyle Patrick Cox, 32, of an unknown address in Arnold, was booked on suspicion of second-degree burglary and drug possession, and misdemeanor petty theft, disorderly conduct and unlawful possession of paraphernalia, after an arrest on the first block of Murphys Road.
