The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


8:34 a.m., Valley Springs - Equipment was stolen from a construction site on Highway 26 and Driver Road.

3:34 p.m., West Point - A burglary took place on Eganhoff Lane.

3:46 p.m., San Andreas - A resident near Market Street said his football went into the yard of a neighbor who would not give it back.

4:06 p.m., Arnold - A wallet and mail were taken from a vehicle on Highway 4.


10:40 a.m., Tamarack - A residence, only accessible by snowmobile or foot, was broken into.

4:03 p.m., Jenny Lind - A gate was opened and a door damaged during a burglary on Southworth Road.

10:04 p.m., Arnold - A suspicious man was chanting outside on Country Club Drive.

11:46 p.m., Angels Camp - A party was reported near Red Hill Road.


12:46 a.m., Valley Springs - A boat was stolen from a campground on South Petersburg Road.

2:02 p.m., Burson - Someone on Cheyenne Drive asked deputies to see if people were shooting in a safe manner.

Felony bookings


12:51 a.m., Vallecito - Lindsay Elizabeth Brotsch, 28, address unknown, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanors possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license after an arrest on Vallecito Bypass Road and Highway 4.

1:09 a.m., Vallecito- Natalie Jeannine Brotsch, 23, of the 1000 block of Deerpark Road, Oakley, was booked on suspicion of drug possession after an arrest on Vallecito Bypass Road and Highway 4.

7:42 p.m., Angels Camp - Pamela Sue Templeton, 54, of the 2000 block of Mariposa Street, Stockton, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, cruelty to a child and driving on a suspended license after an arrest on the 700 block of Main Street.

11:55 p.m. San Andreas - Sara Joy Trujillo, 25, of the 500 block of Angels Drive, was booked on suspicion of assault after an arrest on East Saint Charles and Alfreda streets.


9:52 a.m., San Andreas - John Francis Kahrs, 20, of the 600 block of Mountain Ranch Road, was booked on suspicion of second-degree burglary after an arrest on the 100 block of East Saint Charles Street.

11:10 p.m., Murphys - Charlie Waylon Amstutz, 34, of the 1000 block of Sandalwood Drive, was booked on suspicion of drug possession after an arrest at Utica Power House Road and Highway 4.

11:52 p.m., Copperopolis - Kathie Lee Grover, 64, of the 20200 block of Summit Drive, Sonora was booked after an arrest on Little John Road.


6:15 p.m., San Andreas - Michael Lawrence Harmon, 43, of the 3500 block of South Highway 26, Valley Springs, was booked after an arrest on Court Street.


12:22 a.m., Murphys - Sheldon Danette Parkison, 36, of the 300 block of South Main Street, Angels Camp was booked after an arrest on South Algiers Street.


7:42 p.m., Angels Camp - John George Brown, 57, of the 4600 block of Pacheco Boulevard, Martinez, was booked after an arrest on the 700 block of Main Street.


The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


11:26 a.m., animal complaint - An Elm Street resident said a neighbor's dog is always loose and has no tags.

1:15 p.m., vehicle theft - A car was reported stolen on Yaney Avenue and was located through GPS tracking.

4:36 p.m., fraudulent activities - Fraudulent activity was reported on a business account.

5:30 p.m., public peace - A vehicle on South Washington Street drove downtown several times playing extremely loud music on the stereo.


12:54 a.m., suspicious circumstances - A man was seen lying in the bushes at Mono Way and Hospital Road.

1:23 a.m., burglary - A South Shepherd Street house was broken into.

11:41 a.m., traffic accident - A hit-and-run was reported on South Washington Street.

12:44 p.m., animal complaint - A dog bite was reported on Greenley Road.

1:18 p.m., trespassing - Multiple transients were seen in an abandoned home and open field on Hospital Road.

1:22 p.m., theft - Several items were stolen from a Columbia Way residence.

9:20 p.m., fight - A fight occurred on Daybreak Court.

10:49 p.m., assault - A man treated at a Greenley Road hospital said he was assaulted by his daughter.


12:04 a.m., disorderly conduct - Several people were yelling and whistling at a park on Greenley Road.

9:14 a.m., suspicious circumstances - A man was hanging around a business on Highway 49.

5:59 p.m., suspicious circumstances - A woman wearing inside out jeans was hiding in the bushes on Woods Creek Drive.

10:06 a.m., Tuolumne - An assault was reported on Tuolumne Road.

10:26 a.m., Sonora area - Someone stole a welder and helmet from a Crystal Falls Drive property.

11:02 a.m., Sonora area - A man on Camino Del Parque South said he received a scam call from someone claiming to be from the IRS.

11:27 a.m., Tuolumne - Someone tried to pay a bill with a fraudulent credit card on Tuolumne Road North.

12:40 p.m., Jamestown - Someone broke the front window at a residence on Eighth Avenue.

1:18 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village - A business employee on Highway 108 was caught stealing from the store.

1:22 p.m., Jamestown - A fire was seen behind a Highway 108 bar near propane tanks.

2:53 p.m., Groveland - A property owner on Rosetta Court said someone broke into his vacation home and took a television and alcohol.

6:03 p.m., Sonora area - Someone ripped a mailbox off of the side of a house on Red Chestnut Lane.

6:40 p.m., Tuolumne - Someone was in the middle of the street on Willow Avenue yelling at the neighbors.


1:54 a.m., Sonora area - A man reported an assault on Greenley Road.

9:50 a.m., Tuolumne - A man was walking up and down Pine Street reportedly yelling and trying to start fights. The man was gone when police arrived.

10:49 a.m., Sonora area - A woman reported a fraudulent call on Old Wards Ferry Road from someone claiming to be her granddaughter asking for money because of an arrest.

11:15 a.m., Sonora area - There were about 20 goats on a Fraguero Road property.

11:21 a.m., Sonora area - A house was broken into on Oak Tree Lane. The lights were left on but nothing was taken.

11:36 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village - The back door of a cabin on Sierra Park Road was kicked in and wine stolen.

11:46 a.m., Long Barn - A small fire was spotted near Highway 108.

11:52 a.m., Sonora area - A dog attacked chickens on Beauchamp Road.

12:27 p.m., Columbia - Some pieces of a fence and barbecue equipment were taken from a Sawmill Flat Road property.

2:32 p.m., Sonora area - An alarm was activated at Sullivan Creek School on Hidden Valley Road. Multiple witnesses saw three boys running from the school after the alarm went off. The women's restroom was unlocked and the lights were on, but the main office was secure.

2:39 p.m., Sonora area - A fight was reported on Chukar Circle.

6:52 p.m., Columbia - A fire generated smoke in a neighborhood on Bennett Road.

8:10 p.m., La Grange - A Salinas Street resident said two people cut the fence and drove onto the property, claiming they were allowed to be there. The resident said the landlord denied any permission for others to access the lake-front property.

10:23 p.m., La Grange - Someone drove onto a Pozuelo Court driveway and caused damage with their vehicles.


12:30 a.m., Sonora area - A vehicle fire was reported on Highway 49 and Fraguero Road.

12:32 a.m., Tuolumne - A fire was spotted on Ponderosa Way.

9:05 a.m., Groveland - A man cut down a tree on his neighbor's Cottonwood Street property.

1:56 p.m., Twain Harte - A man said his ex-girlfriend's mother poured beer on his head at a bar on Twain Harte Drive.

5:05 p.m., Sonora area - A man on Mono Way took a woman's propane tank and told her she could have it back after she returned his car battery.

7:24 p.m., Twain Harte - A woman on Twain Harte drive said that she was suicidal because her boyfriend went to prison.

9:35 p.m., Sonora area - A girl said "good luck sleeping tonight" after an argument with her sister on American River Drive.

11:25 p.m., Sonora area - A woman left her zebra-striped purse with a peace sign on top of her car and drove off. She could not find her purse after she arrived at her home on Susan Way.

12:51 a.m., Jamestown - Lotty Josephine Bailey, 20, listed as a transient from Tuolumne, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and bringing alcohol or drugs into a prison, as well as probation violation, after an arrest at Golf Links Road and Jamestown Road.

12:07 p.m., Tuolumne - Darrin Lee Wagner, 48, of the 200 block of North Third Street, Fresno, was booked on suspicion of first-degree burglary, theft by use of access card, forgery of access card, incomplete access card, drug possession and out-of-county warrants after an arrest at Black Oak Casino.

12:30 p.m., Sonora - Michael Truman Engle, 51, of the 4900 block of Crown Lead Lane, Coulterville, was booked on suspicion of drug possession after an arrest on Washington Street.

2:21 p.m., Sonora - Teresa Ann Castillo, 45, and James Burnette Manning, 49, both of the 18300 block of Main Street, Jamestown, were booked on suspicion vehicle theft and drug possession after arrests on Yaney Street at Norlin Street.


4:09 a.m., Jamestown - Justin Cole Mendenhall, 28, of the 19900 block of Highway 108, Soulsbyville, was booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance after an arrest on the 19000 block of Rawhide Road.

10:34 a.m., Tuolumne - Shane Anthony Meier, 41, of the first block of Willow Glen Avenue, Oakdale, was booked on suspicion of drug possession after an arrest at Black Oak Casino.

12:35 p.m., Jamestown - Brandon Gerald Jourdan, 32, of the 200 block of Greenley Road, was booked after an arrest at Fourth and Seventh avenues.


6:01 p.m., Sonora - Charles Robert Poston, 32, of the 21600 block of Crystal Falls Drive, Sonora, was booked after an arrest on Bear River Drive at Crestview Drive.


11:43 p.m., Sonora area - Andrew Eligio Camacho, 22, of the 900 block of Terrace Drive, Oakdale, was booked after an arrest on Greenley Road.
