The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


11:16 a.m., Murphys - Someone on Meadow View Road said that two people in a white van took plants from residences.

2:09 p.m., Hathaway Pines - Someone on Commercial Way and Highway 4 said that two "suspicious looking characters" were riding bicycles downtown.

7:16 p.m., Valley Springs - Someone said that there was a person driving a white SUV behind the "clay pits" on Paloma Road.


The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


10:02 a.m., suspicious circumstances - Someone sat in a tan-colored car on Crooked Lane for two days.

3:58 p.m., suspicious circumstances - A man stood behind a building on South Barretta street watching a girls softball practice.

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


12:19 p.m., Twain Harte - A woman on Cedar Springs Road said that someone called her and said her computer had a virus. She said she recognized this to be a scam and "immediately hung up."

2:09 p.m., Sonora area - A woman said that she did not get her change back at a business on Tuolumne Road.

7:32 p.m., Sonora area - Someone on Kincaid Flat Road said a dead deer was in the driveway. They called back and said that the deer ran away.
